On September 27, 2025, as the rhythm of jazz awakened passion on the Greater Bay Area public welfare stage, and the movements of fingers and bodies transcended the boundaries of sound, two outstanding jazz dance performances—Jazz Dance - Uninhibited Wind and Jazz Dance - Needing You Every Minute—presented by the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf, wrote a wonderful chapter belonging to the disabled community. As a partner of Hong Kong's local charitable forces, Yijia International Foundation was honored to support the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf in participating in this Sign Language Song Gala on this day, witnessing them use dance as a language, break barriers with passion, and shine uniquely in the wave of integration.
This marked the second time the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf stepped onto the stage of the Sign Language Song Gala. Compared to their first participation, this time they brought double surprises—two jazz dance works with distinct styles. These works were not only an elevation of artistic expression but also full of love for life and expectations for integration. From the conception of the programs to the refinement of rehearsals, members of the association overcame numerous challenges brought by hearing impairment with extraordinary perseverance and dedication. With tacit cooperation and full enthusiasm, they presented a powerful and inspiring visual feast to the audience that day, perfectly interpreting the belief that "the body may have limitations, but dreams know no boundaries."

Before the event, when the Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf was asked about his feelings of participating in a Greater Bay Area event for the first time during a media interview, he could hardly contain his excitement: "It’s my first time in the Greater Bay Area, and it’s truly an eye-opener! The venue is fantastic, and I’ve met so many friends—from Macau, the Chinese mainland, and local Hong Kong, including fellow people with disabilities. Collaborating with everyone on stage fills me with joy!" From being unfamiliar with the route at first (fortunately, volunteers guided them patiently that day, and their hard work was deeply appreciated) to the guaranteed adequate rehearsal time and sincere exchanges with partners from various places, this trip to the Bay Area was more than just a performance experience; it was a warm gathering and a precious opportunity for growth. The Chairman’s sincere words—"I’ve learned and felt so much"—were the most precious gain brought by the Greater Bay Area integration on that day: breaking barriers between people from different regions and groups, fostering friendship through interaction, and promoting common progress through communication.
